Ian D. Quick is a consultant, author and advocate for smarter approaches in fragile states. He specialises in strengthening decision-making and institutional learning processes for large institutions, drawing on thirteen years’ work with experimental initiatives to strengthen peacebuilding and recovery. Alongside this, he is the founder of Rethink Fragility, a social enterprise to transform how practitioners share expertise across disciplinary and geographic boundaries.
Ian has published extensively on contemporary challenges in fragile states, including the 2015 book, Follies in Fragile States, and a range of multi-media content. He holds degrees from Harvard University and the University of New South Wales, and is based in London.
