Ian D. Quick is a consultant and advocate for smarter approaches in fragile states. He specialises in strengthening decision-making and institutional learning, and has worked with a wide range of peacekeeping, development, and peacebuilding institutions. Alongside this, he is the founder of Rethink Fragility, a social enterprise to share front-line perspectives on conflicts, crises and the aid business.
Ian has published extensively on contemporary challenges in fragile states, including the 2015 book, Follies in Fragile States, and the oral history project 100 Voices. He holds degrees from Harvard University and the University of New South Wales, and is based in London.
